Born in the Midwest, Inman studied art in Los Angeles. His skills earned him a fellowship to the Institute de Allende in Mexico early in his career. He followed that with several years of working as an artist in the entertainment industry. Inman has exhibited all over the United States, most notably at galleries in New York and Los Angeles. He has also shown on numerous occasions in Japan, including a solo exhibition at the Umeda Museum of Modern Art in Osaka. His works enjoys increasing recognition and is in collections worldwide. His audience is made up primarily of corporate art buyers, and American and Japanese fine art collectors.
